Data Analytics

Our core team of experts have more than 100 years of combined experience in the area of data analytics and multivariate analysis. They bring with them valuable experience, domain expertise and insights from extensive research in the areas of machine learning, statistics, data modeling and optimization.

Our mission is to empower the business ecosystem of our clients with our value-added services in the area of data analytics. Through our strategy that maximizes use of open source tools to build algorithms, we ensure that our solutions are both cost-effective and easy to deploy. We address complex business challenges by providing end-to-end solutions that are niche, innovative and data-driven. Our deliverables to industry offer enterprise applications right from conceptualization of an idea into offering a fully developed product. Besides developing elegant algorithms, we also exploit our strengths in data processing and data visualization to deliver solutions that are easy to interpret and use.

Through our years of experience in this area, we have built an in-house repository of innovative, state-of-the-art techniques that deliver value to our customers. Our repertoire of in-house skills includes a wide spectrum of specialized, advanced algorithms such as time series analysis, machine learning, optimization and statistical modeling.

Our ability to translate complex, real world problems into mathematical problems that we can solve allows domain independence. This aspect helps us deliver across a wide range of industry sectors. We have a dedicated research team working on stock markets and coming up with innovative trading strategies. These solutions are platform independent and easy to customize to meet individual customer needs.

We use advanced time series algorithms like L1 Trend filtering and empirical mode decomposition for momentum trading applications. We also have in-house developed algorithms that use funnel phenomenon and hedge volatility that can be used extensively for pair-trading applications. Together, these techniques that are currently used by our customers, have helped improve profits while reducing mark-to-market losses.

Some of our solutions, such as the matching algorithm developed for seat matching may be niche but have potential to be leveraged across multiple domains. In this case, the strategy could be extended to any domain that requires supply-demand match or explores matches for given set of user preferences such as e-commerce (suggested reading / purchases), sports, transport sector (fleet management), entertainment and dating sites to name a few.
